The plasticity and toughness advantages of CNC stainless steel are widely used in machinery manufacturing. Martensitic, ferritic, austenitic and precipitation hardening stainless steels are the more common stainless steels. Among them, austenitic stainless steel is more commonly used in machined parts.
Since the body of the CNC stainless steel has a stronger bearing capacity, especially when the high temperature strength and hardness are high, the resistance of the material will be increased during cutting, thus increasing the difficulty of curling during cutting. In the cutting operation, due to the large plasticity, strong adhesion, accumulation of nodules, scales, etc. of the material, it is easy to adhere to the surface of the part, resulting in a rough surface of the part.
When processing CNC stainless steel, the selection of cutting tool materials, in specific operations, generally requires specific solutions to be taken according to specific conditions. Most of the work consumed by deformation and friction is converted into heat energy, and the generated cutting heat is dissipated through cutting, workpiece, tool and environmental media (cutting fluid, air).
