In order to meet the needs of users, decorative aluminum plates are generally surface-treated before they can be put on the market. Therefore, the surface treatment of decorative aluminum plates is more important. How to install decorative aluminum plates and how to protect the surface of decorative aluminum plates? Let's talk about the surface treatment method of decorative aluminum plate.
There are currently no more than three methods for surface protection of decorative aluminum plates:
(1) Anodizing, aluminum alloy doors and windows have been introduced in the 1950s, and it is still a common surface treatment measure for aluminum doors and windows and decorative aluminum panels;
(2) Electrophoresis acrylic resin after anodic oxidation was commercialized in Japan in the 1960s, and used in Europe in the 1970s, and is currently mainly used in Asia. At present, the technology has developed from transparent bright film to matte transparent film and color film. The varieties are becoming more diversified, and the industrial control and product quality are relatively stable.
(3) Electrostatic spraying after chemical conversion treatment includes electrostatic powder spraying and electrostatic liquid spraying. Electrostatic liquid spraying of fluorocarbon resins has been commercialized in the United States in the 1960s. The electrostatic powder spraying thermosetting polyester coating has been commercialized in Europe in the late 1960s, and it is still the dominant surface treatment method in European countries. Today, single-anodized aluminum doors and windows have been significantly reduced in domestic and foreign markets. Japan favors electrophoretic coating. White electrophoretic coating has developed rapidly and has been applied in Europe. Electrostatic powder spraying has become the preferred surface treatment method in Europe and America due to its diverse colors, convenient control, environmental protection, and excellent performance. In recent years, the electrostatic powder coating market is also rapidly expanding in my country.
(4) Paint spraying: usually fluorocarbon spraying. The treatment before spraying the aluminum plate is more important. Passivation treatment is required to ensure that the paint and the aluminum plate are closely combined. The typical use is that the curtain wall aluminum plate is surface treated in this way.
