Project Context:
This Sheet Metal stamping part is one of our customers requirement. They are an engineering company who design metal shell sulution for thier customers. At first, they want us use laser cutting to produce 5000 parts. But after our evalution we find it is pretty high cost using laser cutting, and instead we offer a cost_effective and quality steable way for them. The method is using a mold and stamping process.
Where is this part use:
This part is use for a sheet metal shell, it is part of it,and very import.
Material:
This Part is made by steel.Why it need steel?Because steel is good price and can be steable for a long time ourdoor.
Production process:
This part need a stamping die,so first we should design a mold.Then stamping,powder coated with blue powder. Meanwhile,we have 3 qc during the production. Prototype qc...
Surface treatment:
Here we use bule powder to do the powder coating process.Why we choose blue? Because the customer's product is blue, it help keep align with thier product. First we hang the parts on the powder coated line, and the worker use spray to make it blue.
Summary:
When you need a large quantity of metal parts, stampings is a good choice.
