Continuous welding and spot welding are the two most common types of Fabrication welding.
Let's see how they are different:

1. Different definitions. Continuous welding: It refers to the fusion welding of all the contact parts of the two workpieces to be welded together.
Operation: For example, when two steel plates are spliced, one weld is fully welded, which is used when the welding strength is required to be high.
Spot welding: refers to the welding of weldments on individual points of the contact surface at the joint. Spot welding requires that the metal has good plasticity. For example, if you want to make two metal plates at right angles, you only need to weld 2 to 3 points, that is, weld them at a distance, that is, spot welding.

2. Different processes. The Continuous welding process is what we usually call seamless welding. After welding, polishing, wire drawing or polishing processes are required. After the finished product, there is no welding gap.
The process of spot welding is to spot weld the external corner and internal corner respectively. For example, if you look at the front of the screen, you can see the gap of the interface. The size of the gap has a lot to do with the cutting master and the welding master. The product gap produced by the skilled worker's spot welding is very small, of course, the smaller the gap, the better.
